Tales of Restaurant Woe

Does anyone know of a site or forum for posting bad restaurant experiences?  I was so disgusted with the swarming fruit flies at Cairdeas Coffee last night that I wanted to post something, and found little individual restaurant sites, but no real forum for sharing "patron beware" stories.  Any suggestions?

Your own blog is a good start. Googlers for info about the restaurant should find your blog if you blog the experience. StlBloggers is a nice second because of it's regional audience.

Also Saucecafe.com and Cityscape have areas for reader/member reviews.

I'd also suggest that the local devastation (economically, socially and all the other "--allies") caused by Katrina is "peanuts" compared to the devastation in Pakistan, and that Pakistan has fewer resources from which to draw than does the US.

I second Christy's suggestion of saucecafe. Sauce Magazine is where I go to find out about a local restaurant.

However, I'm not sure what Katrina and/or Pakistan have to do with flies in a local restaurant. Were the flies evacuees?

Yea I was going to say, how about here?

That would be a good idea as well, Ben. Assigning categories to posts, may be a possibility?

I'm also having a pinging issue -- when I ping (and I use firefox) I have to log in, ping, go to the main page, log in again, and ping again.

Stlbloggers is living on a temporary server which isn't honoring cookies for more than half an hour.

I'll kick it this weekend.

market at mcknight is mostly empty. don't imagine that's going to change anytime soon with the current economy. they should have left the neighborhood there.

I can log in, but when I ping, it tells me I have an invalid user name.

Before the outage, I never had to re-login from the computers I use most often. I don't think I entered a password for months. Now I have to login everytime before I can ping. Maybe its a different symptom of the same issue?

Ever since that "mostly dead" incident, I have to log out then log back in every time I want to ping. Is this happening to anyone else, or just me?
